Mabon is a God Holiday and is celebrated at the Autumnal Equinox. It is known as the second harvest, and is named for a Welsh God who symbolized the male fertilizing principles in the Welch myths. For an agrarian society, it would be a time to take stock of what this harvest has to offer and to begin to prepare for the coming winter months. This would mean making sure that you had enough crops for your livestock and your family to survive the coming darkness. It is also a time to give thanks for that which you have already received.
Food will be potluck, so please go to http://www.PaganAllianceChurch.net/food.aspx and let us know what you are bringing so we can coordinate food and drinks.
Our Mabon Ritual will begin promptly at 8:00 PM and we will stop answering the door. Please try to arrive by 7:30 PM to get in a ritual state of mind.
